I used to visit a dear elderly friend whose cat found that his house keeping was not the most tidy, so the fur was matted and needed a good comb-out. The cat found me very friendly to the amazement of my buddy and that the animal wanted me to find all the matts in the fur and then clean out the ears of all the black deposits. So we would all sit together converse and discuss the world events while pulling loose big clumps of fur that probably hurt but were tolerated.
I have two that absolutely love being combed and will stay for a extended time for the service, I also have two more that don’t like the service, and will not willingly participate.

I’m sure that Marm will be distracted … as soon as he hears the can opener running!!!

I wonder if they are ever warned about Marm before they come and visit?

Her expression, looks like she found something nasty in his fur.

Reminds me of my daughter’s cat, ‘Phoebe’ . Once you start scratching her back, you don’t get rid of her and she is persistent ! ! !
