Redlining (in the USA) is the discriminatory and, now, illegal practice of refusing someone credit, a loan, or insurance, or adding unfair terms in those contracts based on their race or ethnicity. The things I learn reading the comics amazes me.
Redlining still exists. Just last week a bank paid a heavy settlement amount for redlining.
Especially women like this Grandma! Marching for civil rights could be life threatening back then.
