Now I’m cheesed off…….

Careful what you say, you never know who could be listening.

My understanding is that the cheese “myth” started as a joking insult to the intelligence of certain parties.

One of my hobbies is the study of belief systems. Myths are a way of explaining what people don’t understand, but believe there must be an explanation for. They provide a much needed fill for voids of knowledge, which is fine until knowledge is gained that can and should replace them. Of course even then they can be a great story!
