To be fair, Dre, you haven’t even started what Petunia asked so…yeah.

We were so drained of energy and joy from losing our sweet boy cat that we delayed our Xmas and only celebrated it the day before yesterday. And lights and decor help brighten the cold, gray world – which for us is now even colder and darker with no licks and nuzzles from our super-affectionate boy (I bet Dre doesn’t run to the door each time and give kisses and nuzzles and love to be held). Thanks for the reminder that the world is supposed to be more bland and dark and that everyone is supposed to be on the same timeline, or else.

When I celebrated I always kept the stuf up until after Epiphany. Why the world has forgotten that the gifts are supposed to be in memory of the ones from the Magi I have no idea. Every year when stations start the “12 days of Christmas” on the 13th my eye starts to twitch. I’m not even catholic and I know the importance of January 6th-of course in the US that date has forever been tarnished by idiots.
