Hard to really ponder this when reading it at 12:30 AM.

S’true though. Nothing like sunshine on a cold crisp day.

Walked 6 miles yesterday in 12°F temperature with the bright sunshine and no clouds! Ended up taking my hat and gloves off. Felt so good!

That wasn’t nice.

Rush, rush, rush! Ahhhh! Rush, rush, rush!

Winter is almost as good as autumn… Almost… You can keep summer… Horrid, hot, and humid..

Just a little pre-karate warm-up, in more ways than one!

I wonder if Wallace will be a poet or a prophet when he grows up.

I’m printing and hanging the third panel on my computer. I could use a warm, peaceful moment from time to time.

Winter: admittedly no heat. BUT no bugs, blackflies, mosquitoes, ants, etc. etc. Winter: long nights. BUT sleeping under cozy quilts without sweating. Winter: snow and ice. BUT skiing, skating, toboganning.

A bit of sun for the soul.

It’s that way in Albuquerque. It can be 40 degrees and feel like 55 with the sun hitting you. Of course elevation is 5300-5600 feet above sea level so we are closer to the sun too.

At least she had a moment of feeling the warm of the sun of January

Yesterday they were walking a white path between brown meadows; today the path is darker and there is snow on either side.
