I think i remember hearing somewhere they do bury them vertically. It frees up more space in the cemetery.

What a great idea! However,now the trend is using people for fertilizer….in the woods……☹️

Burying people is ridiculous.
I know of quite a few that a very large screwdriver will be needed to accomplish the burial !
i tried to get his attention, but he had his nose buried in that book…
I knew a fellow once (not cremated) that they still didn’t have to dig a hole for. He was so crooked they just screwed him into the ground.
