In my generation (baby boomer) kids wanted to grow up. We couldn’t wait to do the adult stuff like driving, getting a car and our own apartment. Now kids are all like Peter Pan and never want to grow up and leave their parents’ house.
Kevin McCarthy is in the process of changing that law, at least as to requiring membership in the House.
We didn’t have a choice in the matter.
The alterative was …uninspiring.
Well growing old isn’t, but maturing is voluntary, and some folks don’t.

I’ve grown up, aged, matured — call it what you will. But I’m pleased to report that my inner child is alive and kicking.
