Actually turns out that fidgeting and other small movements burn a significant amount of calories. And of course breathing, pumping blood, and other mostly unnoticed activities are responsible for about 2/3 of one’s calories burnt. People burn significant amount of calories when sleeping. The key to maintaining a proper weight has less to do with how much you exercise as it does with how much you eat. Moderation and balance is essential.
