I’m not going to “correct” this, because I don’t know what’s right. But if you’re going to use machete as a verb, that just looks wrong for the past tense.

I took the road less taken, and that made all the difference.

I am willing to overlook a Savage Chicken not knowing the correct verb to use. ;-|
