Trying to figure out what he is painting that can be mistaken for a salami. Two things come to mind, either a missile silo, or a Dachshund breed of dog.
His plein air work evokes a certain fragrance. Too much air perhaps? I need to get a beret, even if I never wear it out of the house. (Yup, a Pissarro poser.)

The painting sounds like a sausage fest.

Renoir painted Impressionism …. maybe he’ll surround the salami with a pizza…….at a sidewalk cafe, by the sea shore….

The artist must be frustrated after the hiker discovered it so quickly…the piece was called “Hide the Salami”.

Looks like it’s signed by Renoir. Kinda looks like him too. Not sure about the salami reference.

I’ve read all the funny comments, but I still don’t really understand today’s strip.
