I once read an article by a physicist about corked bats. His conclusion was it made no difference if they were corked or not. Force = Mass x Acceleration. His rationale was that a batter only has so much force which is the deciding factor.
What part of the country do they live in if they’re having high school baseball tryouts in March? I know the strip used to take place somewhere in the Central time zone near Chicago
I can serve a volleyball without spin. It wobbles back and forth and confuses the receiving team. Funny to watch when it lands where they don’t expect. They try to set, but it hits them just a half inch left or right and goes off sideways. And I aim for the weakest player. Depending on how smart the opposing team is, I can get several straight points, to whole games before they catch on how to handle it.
