The journey is over for the time being, it is just waiting for the next journey.

You should at least take a picture of it!

We always put the edge pieces into a sandwich bag and take the puzzle to the monthly puzzle swap at the local library.

At least leave it assembled for a week or so.

I buy used puzzles at thrift stores, my wife does most of the assembling, and I take photos of the completed puzzle to prove it is all there before selling them on eBay. In the last 20 years or so she has assembled more than a million pieces. (she can put a 1000-piece one together in a day)

That’s a sure way to ensure there are pieces on the floor instead of in the box.

This is why you need a selfie stick.

The journey Ben…remember!

when we were cleaning up my MIL’s apartment, we found about 15 puzzles, some of which she hadn’t even opened. There were 4 floors in her building, and we had great fun leaving the puzzles and messages of love from the family in each of the common areas.

At least give it a moment for the satisfaction of completion to settle in.

If my wife and I like a puzzle enough, we frame and hang it. If I disassemble a puzzle, it will be because I plan to give it away. I’m too old to imagine that I’ll ever want to spend time assembling a puzzle for the second time.

I had a friend who would glue it to a background and hang it up as a picture.
