Hi Suzy. I understand you are a bricklayer. Did I mention my name is Brick?

My two sons (at 13 and 17 at the time) were taught plumbing (circa 1974) by two female plumbers. They learned how to plan and plumb a house. This included doing the actual construction. At graduation one of the ladies said “Just remember; hot water on the left and sh!t runs downhill…”

I’ll never forget the look on my boys’ faces.

I remember seeing a “home maker” interviewed on TV as a child and thinking this was exactly what was meant.

“Just another brick in the wall.”

We had a chimney fire due to the wood burning stove we had! So decided to call a Chimney Sweep! Needed a stainless steel chimney liner…. It was a woman! She gave us a deal if my husband helped her and he did!

As Ben Folds sang “She’s a Brick”. Or if that is a little obscure, as the Commodores sang “She’s a Brick House”!
