For some reason I got thinking of an old blue song by Bo Carter, (and pencil is a euphemism): “Now listen here folks, there’s one thing sure My old pencil won’t write no more Because the lead’s all gone, oh the lead’s all gone Oh the lead’s all gone, the pencil won’t write no more.”
He likes big scones and he cannot lie. Other writers can’t deny. When a scone comes by on an itty bitty plate, and a round thing in his face he gets sprung!
Just want to say that I have loved Rob’s work since Big Top and never go a day without reading his comics. I wish that the Washington Post would run it in it’s Sunday print edition though.

The Phoebe Buffet school of song writing. Three easy online lessons. One for the three guitar chords you’ll need to know, and two for… well, babbling.
