My kitten uses this position to lull me into a false sense of security.

Believing she wants to be petted, I reach out a hand, and withdraw a lump of gnawed flesh.

Yes, I fall for it every single time.

My cat will walk in front of me in the hallway and plop down right in front of me, presenting her belly for rubbing.

Chewy: “I mean, we built the Scritcher 5000, and all you use it for is hanging the tasers up on.”

Then the claws come out. Yip yip yip yip yip

Her baser nature betrays her every time.

Both my cats love their tummy scritches.

Cat belly scritches=trip to the ER.

“Hey, we have staff, it’s silly not to use them…” ☺

I mean…who could?

Love these cats!

When Truffle wants belly rubs she flops over at your feet with a dramatic murp, so cute. And she never bites your hand. That’s how she got her nickname Floppy, we joke she must have some ragdoll in her.

Scritch, scratch, scrutch. :)

He just upset he’s hogging all the scritches.

My dog actually does this too.

This seems like another one of kitty’s get-scritch-quick schemes.
