This looks good. I like turmeric and cumin. Chick peas (aka garbanzo beans) are good, (I think any white beans would probably work well here). This time of year, I’d probably use canned tomatoes (a 15 oz can of diced tomatoes drained but save the juice in case the dish needs more liquid). The only thing I’d change is to leave out the ‘fresh coriander’ – that’s cilantro and I loath cilantro. I’d add some fresh parsley instead or celery leaves. Mint, or fresh oregano, would work too if one liked those flavors.
