What’s so great about herculean fish ladies, Wallace?

That’s an interesting combination, a cartridge-loading console and a flat screen TV.

Sterling doesn’t often wear clothes, let alone diapers.

There is someone in the potted plant that seems very interested in the goings on….

So that’s how they came up with the idea for the 1970’s Saturday morning cartoon show – “The Mermerculoids!”

I love these kids!

Spud’s world is fraught with danger on an apocalyptic level on a daily basis. He is able to feel the inherent danger of killer attack clams and venomous vampire moths. I am baffled that he can manage to sleep while Sterling is lurking near by preparing to pounce. Such a lapse in situational awareness leads to death and your remains being feasted on by mutant musical mushrooms.

We used to build forts in the woods out of cardboard and scrap wood, but Wallace’s room is so much better.

Not only in the middle of Wallace’ presentation, but also while playing! What if the game shocked Spud so that he fainted .. then smoothly transitioned to sleep.

Never be the first to fall asleep or pass out…

I’m surprised that Amelia didn’t want a bowl of warm water to stick Spud’s hand in.

I love Rose’s diaper comment.

Excellent details in the panel, Mr. Henry. Takes me back to my childhood!

On a side note, that gaming console bears a resemblance to a classic Sega Genesis console, and now I’m wondering if that was deliberate or just a happy accident on Will’s part.

Seeing that cartridge based game console and the cartridges scattered around it gives me all the feels…memories of being that same age without a care in the world.

I am surprised Rose is onboard with this scheme.

Maybe Wallace was teaching a boring story about the mythical Mermercules…..
