Don’t think your ‘friend’ feels the same.

I have a friend who’s dog encountered a porcupine on a camping trip. She got him to a vet and thought they got all the quills but those things will travel. One morning two weeks later I was petting him and my hand brushed against something stiff emerging from his head. It was a quill.

At least it wasn’t a skunk!

People get exotic pets. Then they decide that they don’t want them. So they abandon them.
