    Put the word food in quotes.

    For example…, Dear Purina, we have some thoughts on your cat and dog “food”.

    That will sufficiently convey your displeasure.

    When one tries to be politically correct they must remember it subjugates them to those they are addressing. Or as my grandfather always said; speak the truth and say it like you mean it; yes-people are pathetical and easly manipulated
