That’s the problem with emails, texts and letters….if your words don’t get the point across, or the spirit in which it was written, you have to use blunt force sarcasm and threatening words…
Just leave that ‘cereal’ company and buy a higher end product that is better for your pet. Just like humans, the better the food, the better the pet’s health is.

It would be better to find specific individuals to write to. Letters address generally are easier for companies to ignore.

Put the word food in quotes.
For example…, Dear Purina, we have some thoughts on your cat and dog “food”.
That will sufficiently convey your displeasure.
