Some people, like wine, get better with age, Sarah.

You’re a fine vintage, baby.

Now, just because I used “vintage”, doesn’t mean I’m calling you old. That’s just what they call the good wines.

Good wines that are… you know what, let me just quit while I’m still not completely buried.

Oh my sweet summer child… Wait until you binge a series like NCIS when you are 70. wheeze

These characters are young enough to be my grandchildren!

Just a decade? You poor, sweet child!

Are you watching Stranger Things?Imagine how I feel – At the time shown in the Series (~1984) I was a senior in H.S.

i.e. I was older than the main characters almost 40 years ago!

Worse still is watching an older series or movie and realizing all those fine young actors and actresses are dead.

I can relate… but try being 2 or 3 decades older..

As near as I can tell, Sarah, I’m twice your age. But I like seeing what you young folks get up to.

Our bodies do age (sigh) but inwardly we don’t.

A decade! I wish.

A decade? Try half a century!

The characters may be, but I’m sure a lot of the actors and actresses playing them aren’t.

So then, there are three things you can’t avoid in life. Death, taxes, and younger people.
