Winter still is at it and won’t stop until the calendar says so. Good luck on that one. We had a couple of weeks that absolutely delightful and now we are back to late winter. It is not the temp so much as the wind. Brrrr.

Maryland has had a VERY mild winter, and the Baltimore area hasn’t gotten a flake of snow all winter. The temps have been in the mid-30s overnight, but for the most part, in the 50s during the day. It’s supposed to be 60 today. It’s just as well we haven’t had any cold weather, because it has rained, and rained, and rained some more. It every inch of rain equals a foot of snow, we’d be in worse shape than California!

It has been the best winter ever, I even got the yard cleaned a month early. But the threat of snow is still there. I do feel bad for those that live for snow, but it is nice to get a break once in awhile.

And that is why you need to WALK your dog, bag it, and throw it away. Rather than just letting him out, slug.

Here we have had an early Early Summer (temps cracked into 90’s). We do have 4 seasons: Early Summer, Summer, Late Summer, and Sprall. Another sign – the last holdout pin oak trees have dropped their leaves.

It’s the smell of all those land mines left under the snow.
