Possibly the best explanation as to why Pluto got declassified…

And here I was thinking it was because Pluto didn’t renew its membership.

You realize how many lunch boxes would have to be recalled to paint in those thousands of mystery objects?

Pluto is probably just one of those dwarf planets that accidentally entered the Solar System and went off the plane of our planets. China claims it is not responsible. But just to be safe, the next time Pluto reaches its furthest point away from Earth we must shoot it down. Now that we have adjusted our telescope filters, we find many many planetoids orbiting in the Kuiper Belt. Most are probably not of hostile intent, but government studies must verify this. (—

Poor Pluto couldn’t afford to hire an orbit-sweeper.

What fascinates me is that you can pray to Science and get an answer. I got to figure out how to do that. Answers from Whomever I’ve been praying to up to now have totalled a big fat zero.

I am wondering why Earth and Jupiter are in the same class. The planets have nothing in common except that they orbit the Sun and have things orbiting around them

Pluto is quite a bit smaller than Mercury, and the largest moons, including our Moon. It was only found when it was because they mistakenly believed there was a large planet beyond Neptune, affecting Neptune’s orbit.
