I have one German Shepherd I want to take to the zoo; he likes other animals, especially horses.

Poncho, maybe you and the Crocs from “Pearls” can get together and bag a Zebra…just a thought…

I don’t understand today’s strip. I can see that Poncho is expecting something to happen that would lead to him being able to make a sandwich, but what??

Poncho is no Croc, and barely smarter than the Crocs in Pearls Before Swine.

Regarding Pearls, Poncho has the self-centeredness of Rat and the intelligence of Pig.

Poncho thinks the lions are going to get him some meat for a Zebra sandwich, and he must think the lions at the zoo are like the Cowardly Lion in Oz—-no threat to him.

Hey! Poncho! You stay away from those Zeebas! Don’t be getting any bright ideas that will get you in trouble! ☹️
