I often wonder what motivates people to be so cruel when responding to Internet sites. Do people who own Fords purposely spend hours on sites promoting Chevrolet just to be as contrary as possible? Why do they even bother with commenting on something they don’t like let alone follow sites and pages they deplore? Then, they get offended when someone challenges them and pull out the “I’m entitled to my opinion, and I’m allowed to express it” excuse when they feel insulted. I know, I know… It’s my fault for reading these diatribes, and if I don’t like it, I’m the one who is to blame and should therefore leave… which I now will…
Things have gotten completely tribal now. One side can say “X”, and instead of offering up “Y”, the other side will say “Negative-X”…. Just for the sake of saying it. In the worst case scenario, people have begun to define themselves as just being the complete opposite of what “the other side“ says..
There are haters who troll sites just to trash someone and their opinion. It makes them feel powerful and they enjoy the negative response they get. Thse people are usually antisocial and they need the negative feedback to get the adrenaline rush. Most are males and especially enjoy trying to tell a woman what an idiot she is, when HE is the idiot. I have been known to play along with their little game till I spring the trap and make them wallow in self pity. Nver trash a woman, we do NOT fight fair.
Well, you could gather the comments from all sides, tie them into a bundle and then stuff them into (soon to be crashed into and again destroyed) Keesterman’s mailbox.

Before Crankshaft moved over from that other site I did get the impression that there were some nasty jerks that commented on Crank and Funky
I was hoping that was fake news, been sad to see it wasn’t
