I never use these machines. I prefer a human being.

the machine is on steroids

When they changed the 10 dollar bill to peach colored, I watched people at one store trying to get the machine to take them, LOL! Wouldn’t do it!! If the stores start giving me an employee discount, I might think about using them.

Many customer’s are really tech dumb!

At my favourite grocery store, you have to have 15 items and under to use the self checkout. At WalMart, it’s almost mandatory to use the self checkout.

The checkout became sentient.

It’s Bing chat!

With a human checker it would only have been $14.63, but with much more attitude

Some Walmart locations are converting to all Self Checkout

I avoid those machines as much as possible. they are purposely slowed down compared to the manned registers, and they don’t give you a discount for doing their work.

I always thank the machine after it says Thank You Valued Customer.

Even worse when you get the wrong change, try to collect…

Since they don’t have anyone checking receipts, I can just imaging the thievery going on there! I just hope it doesn’t outweigh the amount they would be creating jobs with!

What a jerky thing for the customer to say! Seriously! Well, next time since want to avoid people, we’ll just leave you stuck here. You’re welcome, jerk. Geez…..
