I’m surprised Duke didn’t attempt to get Jimmy to keep the orphans as part of the deal.

I never DID understand the stories point of feeling bad for grown adults being paraded about as ‘orphans’ when both of the parents are (back then) still alive….

That’s the weakness of fundamentally corrupt people – they think everyone is as heartless as they are.

That’s why Lex Luthor will never beat Superman.

Duke is trying to locate Dolly Parton’s people.

Of course, it never occurred to Duke to use a small amount of the money he would get and buy a reasonably priced house for the orphans and Honey.
