It doesn’t where everybody stands, the tarantula can climb up anything.

I’ve had 2 tarantula escapes in the last few years. Tempest, my Arizona Blonde female, was easily found within a half hour. My Red Rump Mexican male had a day long adventure and crawled out from under the TV stand at 1 a.m. Capture cup ready. Enough adventuring, Rude Boy!Dogs, cats, and ailing parents unaffected. WHEW!
