My favorite elevator prank is when getting into the elevator in the basement of the hospital, I’ll ask the person closest to the buttons “Down please” just to see if they are paying attention.

About half the time they are so distracted by their phone, tablets, etc, that the automatically reach for the control panel before they realize what I said.

Close the closet door, say 7 pings and open the closet door to see where he goes.

Now they can both come out of the closet.

Today we call that burnout.

Super absorbed and also just plain strange.
