I had a fine career in advanced engineering. Now my job; I walk the dog and pick up her poop. I sometimes tell her that in the good old days I had a slide rule and I had to look up Bessel functions in a table and we put some guys on the moon. She wags her tail, which makes me smile.
No. Buzz, being an astronaut, was smart enough to have a fenced in yard. He stayed inside the nice warm house at 3 am waiting for the dog to come back inside.
A company I worked for had Buzz Aldrin come as a motivational speaker. On a Saturday and we weren’t being paid to attend. I came in thinking that this can’t be too bad, it’s Buzz Aldrin. But he was boring as all heck.
After 60 years living with dogs, I still wanna know: how can they be so frantic to get outside, as if they’re going to explode like fermented juice in a bottle, and then take 20 minutes to even BEGIN looking for a spot to relieve themselves? Huhn? How come?
My dog always stays in bed until I rise. Unless she is sick I never have to take her out until I am ready. She also brings me any item I request which is great when it is difficult to bend over.

Puppy says, “A good human would do that, and so will mine.” P.S. Love the grunt face on the pup.

And he put his pants on one leg at a time, though, sometimes I do two at the same time.

They like to get caught up on ‘the news’, and read the comics, first thing in the morning.

I have fond memories of beautiful crisp winter starlit skies while out with my pup at 3 a.m.

Not only is the art great, but this also nails one of the funniest parts of living with a dog. This one is a hoot!

If you have a dog, you’ve been there.
