After Rule #1: Always assume a firearm is loaded, Rule #2: Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. (Rules #3 & 4 naturally follow at this point: Watch the muzzle (or, don’t point at anything you don’t intend to destroy) and be aware of what’s both in front AND behind the target.) Otherwise, great comic!

Trigger finger is a real thing and usually involves minor surgery to correct it. I know 2 people that had that surgery.
