What’s Daylight Savings when you’re in Arizona and Hawaii?

Jesus didn’t have the government telling him to get up early though.
A week early on this one, aren’t we? Actually, I’m Team Standard Time, which wasn’t a problem when DST was only in the late spring-midfall.
My church actually does keep teddy bears in the pews, to give to those in need of comforting, with an attached note that the bear has heard prayers, hymns, and the word of God.
It seems, whenever there is humor in an even subtly eccleastical frame, there are always some who’ll hijack it for his own personal sermonizing.
I just get in the mindset early on Saturday that it’s already an hour later. So if I want to go to bed at 9, I think to myself at 8 that it’s bedtime!
