Trash bags are utilitarian products of human ingenuity and necessity and convenience. A symbol for our Culture, that kicks so many cans down the existential road. They deserve respect, not disdain. I sometimes think Aunty Acid is a reincarnation of Gertrude Stein, and would have a pithy quote about them.

As teen a guy could gain status as a “babe magnet” by having a car and being able to drive. The same holds true for 80-year-olds in the retirement home.
