Our husky was at a fancy kennel while we were on vacation. They let the dogs out in their fenced yard for playgroup while it was snowing. When they called the dogs in, Jack wanted to stay out in the snow. They let Jack stay while the rest were returned to their kennels. When they went back for him, they trouble locating him. He was snuggled into the snow with only the tip of his nose out.

Like belling a cat. The birds have no idea what that sound is supposed to mean but it attracts territorial cats who want to fight.
