Small: Fairytale “guilt”. Large: “Wretch” kvetch.
Small: I always liked the Grimms’ endings: “And if they haven’t died yet, then they’re still alive.” (“Und wenn sie nicht gestorben sind, dann leben sie noch.”)
His mom seems to have the some connections with the right people.
This tale is told in hopes that other kids will not be oblivious to the consequences on their mothers like the kids in this story were.
A therapist once told me that this sort of thing is very common……and it’s always boy children. Sigh.
Kids know the stories by heart, so hey know when mom adlibs
Some men are thoughtless, no matter what the day is!
Great drawing of the line-man 50 feet up the pole. That is hard to draw.
Small: It’s never too early to start with the guilt trips.
Still checking on your son’s whereabouts, are we…
Fairy’s have mothers too…
How son we forget.
