Here in Denver there are some pickleball courts being closed by the City because neighbors complained about the noise. Sure ’nuff, the sounds of paddle-on-ball exceeded the noise ordinances by quite some margin. More than tennis, softball, basketball, etc. Go figure.
At our HOA Clubhouse we have tennis courts turned into pickleball courts M,W, F and Sunday and they’re packed. On the “tennis” days there generally only a couple of players. Because of the snow we’ve been getting the courts are finally starting to get play for the first time since Christmas.

Don’t knock us senior citizens. Old age and treachery will overcome youth and enthusiasm every time.

We can murder someone and get a life sentence. No big deal to us. Life isn’t that long anymore.

They never thought they’d spend retirement going to court everyday.

I cannot take a sport named Pickleball any more seriously than I can take a disease named monkey pox
