I’m so sorry for your loss, Ken. Pets are so much more than just funny animals. They are truly a part of our family and it hurts when they go. Peace.

I am in deep sympathy with you — I had to take my 17 year old cat to be put to sleep just two weeks ago. I am still lonely. Please take all the time you need.

Get a new kitten right away. Your cat can’t be replaced, but you can fill the empty hole he left.

So sorry to hear this, Ken. We’ve lost three of our five cats in the past three years, two expected and one surprise. Peace be with you in your grief.

Cats are the worst to lose. It just seems like they should never go. And then they do. I think they plan it that way.

I’m not a regular reader, but Teresa Burritt mentioned your loss, and I wanted to offer my condolences. Losing any pet is a terrible experience, and one that has shared your life for as long as yours did is especially painful. Hang in there.
