I was the weekend person at a veterinarian’s office for a few years. I would walk the dogs being boarded. I remember a few smaller dogs who would stop and lift a back leg only to end up peeing on their front feet.
Our previous dog, Pepper, would go out at night and avoid peeing because that meant we would take her back in. Our current one, Jax, will go out at night and poop on command. Two Border Collies, completely different personalities.
