I’m sure Jeremy did his best. That’s what’s so tragic, really…

I just hope she isn’t watching from her perch in heaven, and I’ll never forget the way her leaving was presented — thank you to Trudeau; makes it less horrifying as I approach the inevitable myself…

I’ll probably check out watching Air Disasters on cable!!

We’ll all be lucky if we have a last friend to care for us as Jeremy cared for Lacey. We won’t be worrying about the Order of Service when we cross the last river.

Not worried about dying, am worried about not outliving those I care for…we don’t even have a Jeremy.

Remember, he was upset about Alice being left money in Lacy’s will so apparently his motives were not entirely selfless. He’s a laughable foil, his bumbling interference which so irritated Lacey plays well against her inate good sense and dignity despite the onset of Alzheimers. She sought out Alice’s company, an unthinkable act in Jeremy’s case. She couldn’t stand him.

He’ll probably give the elegy: “How I built my string collection.”
