I thought Mike was in charge of marketing. He clearly doesn’t know anything about software development.

It’s clear that Mike is totally unqualified to be his own boss.

He’d better let Alex take over marketing—THEN the company will show a profit!!

Of course, by then he’d be in jail for violation of child labor laws, LOL.

And here we see a perfect example of the difference between ‘real world’ smart and ‘book smart’…

This is why the tech companies are downsizing, they hired too many people to begin with.

Like a manager once told me, “Don’t just work. Produce!”

They started a company for a “feature” for a development tool? Bit of overkill?

deja vu all over again

Bernie is trying to give Mike a dose of reality, but Mike isn’t paying attention.

What Mike is going through is something like a corporation CEO who can’t see that his company is going down but still wants his million dollar bonus – on time – anyway.

Time to get Alex on the job

Yes, Mike, you need to hire more people. I recommend that you first hire a squad of good therapists.
