The dog I had as a child would not use the lawn – he would go into the shelter belt (tree line) north of the lawn area. It was nice to have a clean lawn to run around in barefoot…

A neighbor has two teenage sons, yet they hire someone to come by every two weeks, like the lawn mowers, to pick up their pets’ droppings from the small back yard.

He’s gonna be counting for awhile.

Reason #327 why I don’t have a pet.

We live in southern Minnesota. In the winter, our dog used our front lawn. By spring after the snow melted, there was nothing left of the poop, it had disintegrated and had fertilized our lawn!
