Considering how some people treat Earth, it’s no wonder this planet has gone to the dogs…

They are highly intelligent. And very loveable.

Ha. But not as intelliGENT as BEARs.

I recall an old SF story by, I think, Robert Sheckley, about some aliens who are wrapping up a friendly visit to Earth. They are going to take some dogs back with them to their planet, but one of the aliens realizes that it’s a trap. The dogs are secretly in charge of Earth, and they will take over the alien planet if they get there.

The dogs overhear him trying to warn the other aliens (who don’t believe him), and they arrange for him to have a fatal accident.

No mention of where the cats fit into this.

They clearly have never seen cats.

Yes they do. Yip yip yip yip yip

One wonders if we might be better off with them in charge …

If they had observed cats they would have placed warning beacons around the planet to keep other aliens safely away.

Why does “No, Rex! Leave that squirrel alone!” make me think of The Wall by Pink Floyd?

… and we scoop up for them.

When we are the Alpha in the relationship with our dogs we have a balance that follows the nature of the dog. They will be happy to do as they are trained by us, and we have a trusted, loyal and obedient companion.

Some of them are certainly more intelligent then the some 2 legged one … :)

Highly intelligent and man’s best friend…

Cats are more intelligent than dogs.
