P1 looks like auditions for The Big Bang Theory. P2 looks like some of Rick Vaughn’s teammates from the California Penal League. And is that Keri in P3. I gotta call Vito and load up on my they won’t finish second in the Valley prop bet.
I can’t recall a year in the past when so many potential players showed up. Heck, most teens are busy enough with social lives, school work, jobs, and video games that some years they’d put anyone who showed up on the team. Now they’ve got 300% more kids trying out than they need?
So Gil’s in charge of softball and Cami coaches baseball? Does Toby get 2 letters by playing on both teams? Whose in charge of loofahs? So many questions, too few panels.
She reminds me of my daughter’s varsity softball coach who did nothing but scream at and belittle the girls that made the team. I finally told her that “ these are the girls that you yourself chose…why are you insulting them so much?… they’re gonna turn on you… that kind of treatment does not work with girls…”
Wait…Gil is coaching softball and Cami is coaching baseball (when she’s not making cryptic messages in the outfield with the mower)? Or is it a combined team? Is Toby playing for both, thus making them Milford’s first-ever four-sports star…?
How come the boys get chairs and the girls have to stand? Not very equitable. And speaking of standing, you probably couldn’t stand waiting so long for today’s issue of Mopped Up Thorp.
In the spirit of P2: One spring training Sparky Anderson had the squad together and he told them “I’ve got Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, George Foster, Tony Perez and Davey Concepcion. The rest of you guys are tu rds.”

So Mimi no longer coaches softball, either? I suppose this gives her more time to get coached herself, out in Scottsdale.

At the risk of being sexist, shouldn’t the girls be on their softball team and let the boys have their own baseball team ?

Tomorrow, the baseball season gets suspended after Cami’s little pep talk scares off every single kid who showed up for tryouts

Many coaches try to give pep talks to their team by reminding them of Rocky. Coach Cami prefers to remind them of Glengarry Glen Ross.

With every “Crack” of the bat, Keri folds into a crying ball on the field. Leading to confusion as to which ball to field and throw back.
