The truth is that Santa, the Easter Bunny and the tooth fairy are all fictions that adults know. But the REST of the truth is that once you know the truth, you become part of the Santa, Bunny, Fairy conspiracy.

I’ll never watch “Rise of the Guardians” the same way again.

Exchanging body parts for cash would be a good basis for a horror story.

Just because she calls herself the Truth Fairy doesn’t mean she is.

Be skeptical.

I remember one of those realization moments for my kids. We said nothing, but they were chasing what they thought was Tinkerbell all around the room (it was just me redirecting the light reflecting off my knife). After awhile, they stopped, looked at me, and said, “How are you doing that?” Very natural — and I showed them. They didn’t miss a beat but switched to, “Do it again!” All of the little magic moments and little fictions we had, they figured out on their own with no drama or trauma. Then the “magic” evolved into beloved traditions.
