Cathy: Then came the catalog revolution...then we'd not only compare the same item in all the stores, but we'd go home and compare the same item in all the catalogs. Mom: But no more..now we have computers. Mom: Now when we see a gift in a store we'll compare it to the same item in all the other stores..then we'll compare it to the same item in all the catalogs. Cathy: And then we'll boot up, log on, and compare it to the same item in a worldwide web of 25,000,000 online shopping sites!! Mom: Whew, what a time-saver.
