Confessions of a bed & bath shopper Cathy: At 11:40 am, in the middle of a business meeting, I realized the entire right side of my brain was being used up by faux early-American bedding choices. Even worse, I didn't care. Even worse, I felt superior to anyone who didn't appear to be silently wrestling with the same decisions...The yarn-dyed "Victorian" thistle-pattern quilt with euro shams and boxpleat bedskirt? The pastel "keepsake fabric" patchwork quilt with periwinkle dust ruffle?...The "heirloom" apple blossom applique quilt with awning-striped lines?...The "vintage" waffle-weave penny check quilt?...The "antique" garden quilt? I couldn't talk to my mother. She's had the same bedspread for 43 years. I couldn't talk to my women friends. They're still recovering from my "South-Western" phase...There's only you. Only you always know the right thing to say...Voice on phone: First item number? Cathy: How many returns do you allow per order?
