Counting Sheep?

I retired 7 years ago. How is a glass of milk I had then supposed to help me sleep now.

You could keep Old Bettsie in the house.

Warm milk would keep me up all night, running back and forth to the bathroom.

Chilled milk, not pasteurized nor homogenized, is heavenly.

after getting kicked, landing in the muck, and trudging back to the bed after waking up the cow by pulling on her teats to get your milk, I’d think you’d be tired enough.

Reminds me of an old joke:

My doctor said to help me sleep I should drink a glass of warm milk after a hot bath.

The next time I saw him, he asked if his advice worked, and I said “No because I couldn’t finish drinking the hot bath”.

Being a “subject” isn’t easy living in the land of ID!

Coulda stayed in the barn, as a young teen I have a lot of good memories spent in our hay loft, mind we were not interested in sleeping.
