Menopause is great! Why is every woman so scared about it?

I’ve often wondered why it isn’t called womenopause.

I’ve also wondered what the equivalent term for men would be.

So far, perimenopause isn’t much of anything. I already have hot and cold flashes from fibromyalgia.

Ah yes, that point in a woman’s life when the 7 evil dwarves move in. Itchy B!tchy, Sweaty, Sleepy, Bloated, Psycho, and Forgetful.

Yeah, the hot flashes don’t stop for some. I had all the negative classic symptoms which went away except for the darned hot flashes. Stress makes them worse, too. Oh well. It could be worse.

Shouldn’t it be WOMENopause?

I guess there is such a thing as male menopause, when our wild oats turn into oatmeal.

they left a letter out of that word – men on pause…

No doubt it was misspelled: should have been Menonpause.

I thought that was old age…..
