i am older than the internet & cellphones…i remember 8-track tapes, 33/45 records, glass bottles for Pepsi & Coke, even remember original formula…there are a LOT of different things i remember; “those were the days”
I saw my first tv when I was about 4 years old. We moved to Texas in about 1950, had the only tv in the neighborhood, and the neighbors came over, sat in rows in the living room, like a theater and watched static, since the area didn’t have any stations close enough to come in clearly. Once in a while the static would form a blurry picture for a moment, and they would spend the next few minutes debating whether exactly what it had been. If they hadn’t put a station in Oklahoma City after a few months, we could have started charging admission and paid for the TV.
I remember my first Tablet. It had all the latest. How exciting it was when Cuneiform had come out of Beta with 1.0. Beat the heck out of Hieroglyphics.

Kids only know what they are familiar with. Sometimes a trip to a museum is educational, so they can see what they missed.
