Of course they’re leaving for Coors. You know, the company whose past chairmen (and Coors family members) have said things like,
Blacks lack “intellectual capacity” and “one of the best things they slave traders did for you is to drag your ancestors over here in chains.” “They lack the intellectual capacity to succeed, and it’s taking them down the tubes.” -William Coors
In an interview done with Freddie Trujillo, he offered a first hand account in which he stated that when he, a Chicano man, went to the brewing facilities in Golden, CO he was told that, “Coors don’t hire no Mexicans, we don’t hire no (n-word), and we don’t hire no dogs.”
Coors.. the beer you can drink and not.. have to worry about being over the limit while driving. Save the officer getting his breathalyzer out if you tell him right upfront it is Coors he smells on your breath.
After prohibition, beer manufacturers were quick to put out product before it had properly aged. Americans had no problem drinking the “green” beer, so the producers, saving time and money, continued with the American version of beer. Most people have not had a good properly made beer.
Five years in Germany forever changed my taste for American commercial beer. Give me a nice IPA any day. About the only thing a light beer is good for is a quencher when working outside on a hot day and I’ll still do cold tea or water rather than drink that crap.
Bud thinks they can alienate more than half of their customers and skip gaily down the garden path. Pretty big cojones on those Clydesdales, doncha see…

I wonder if a few patriotic Bud commercials will cause people to forget.
