When the ceremony is complete …

… he becomes the groom’s attorney-in-law.

Law Day… or Lawd-ay? As in…

(Okay, I was tryin’ to type some kind of Kentucky Southern Accent, and it started steering towards Foghorn Leghorn… so I’m gonna quit before it gets too weird!)

Do you, process, take thee for your lawfully wedded contract, to have and to hold, signed, and notarized, til death due you part?

After my disastrous first marriage I got a pre nup. Never needed it, thankfully. 19 years of bliss.

This does not bode well for the newly married couple.

I’m not surprised. I’m even surprised there will be a wedding. Even the cake decoration knows this couple needs help/a contract/pre-nups. lol
